Hansons the Caterers Terms & Conditions
Private & Corporate Event Catering
Payment
Payment of your event must be made at least ten (10) days before the date of your event to guarantee our services. If payment is not received at least ten (10) days before your event, we reserve the right to reject your booking. Your receipt of our invoice and/or confirmation completes our contract with you.
Deposit
We reserve the right to collect a deposit at the time of booking. The amount of deposit required is determined based on the total value of your booking. The deposit secures your chosen date. This deposit will be deducted from your final invoice.
Cancellation
If your event is affected by any global events, you can transfer your deposit and quote to a new date. If you cancel our services we reserve the right to obtain the deposit. Hanson’s the Caterers will have incurred costs and losses associated with your event.
Event Information
Special dietary requirements, full table plan (if applicable) and final numbers must be notified to us in writing two (2) weeks prior to your event.
Business Catering – Delivery Only
Booking
For catering numbers of 5 to 80, we require at least two (2) working days’ notice (Monday to Friday) before the time of delivery to confirm your booking. For catering numbers of 80+, we require at least three (3) working days’ notice (Monday to Friday) before the time of delivery.
We reserve the right to reject your booking if your request is less than the minimums stated above.
Your booking is only confirmed when you receive confirmation from Hansons the Caterers in writing via email.
Cancellation
If your catering booking is cancelled two (2) working days (Monday to Friday) before the requested delivery time, you will be charged 20% of the booking total. Hansons the Caterers will have incurred costs and losses associated with your booking.
If your catering booking is cancelled one (1) working day (Monday to Friday) before the requested delivery time, you will be charged 100% of the booking total. Hansons the Caterers will have incurred costs and losses associated with your booking. You may wish to continue your delivery as normal.
Cancellation of catering orders are required in writing via email, your booking is cancelled when you receive confirmation from Hansons the Caterers.
Payment
We require payment for your booking 14 days from the invoice date. We reserve the right to reject future bookings if your account is overdue. We accept payment by BACS or Credit Card payable via a link on the invoice. We do not accept Cheque payments.
